Latest Updates from Our Project:

Help with Sharing the Newest Book...
9 months ago – Tue, Oct 10, 2017 at 05:38:22 AM

The Complete SNES: Definitive Edition is live on Kickstater!

600+ pages, quality refined and only $40! I've also made international shipping more affordable due to help from a distributor in Europe.

Because of the drop in price, it's going to take more people to support the campaign than in the past. If you could help by sharing this as widely as possible, it'd be a huge help as in order for this to be successful people are going to need to know it's out there. I think the book is badass enough to sell itself, more people just need to know it exists!

Thanks in advance and let me know if you have any questions.

NES Compendium Update and a new NES Homebrew!
9 months ago – Tue, Sep 26, 2017 at 07:22:26 AM

Good morning everyone! Lots of updates for the project and just in case you weren't aware it was posted on the Hagen's Alley website.

There is also a brand new NES Homebrew that has a Kickstarter that's about to end. It's called Full Quiet and it's made by the awesome dudes at Retrotainment Games who did the Haunted Halloween games. You know I supported it!

Continuing with what I've dubbed the Second Generation of Hagen's Alley Books (starting with this Kickstarter BTW), I am going to be launching the Definitive Edition of the Complete SNES! It'll be the upgraded quality that started with this book and I'm adding over 100 pages of Super Famicom goodness to make it a must own, even if you have the original. This launches on Saturday October 7th, shooting for 1100ish EST.

Going forward, thanks to the amazing support everyone has given me, I am going to be able to permanently lowering the prices of all my books! You will see it starting with the new Kickstarter and it is really awesome to get to be able to pay the price drop forward to everyone with future projects! This is all because of everyone supporting my books and I am extremely grateful.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks so much!

Update on Things
9 months ago – Tue, Sep 12, 2017 at 04:46:25 PM

Those of you who have been following along at or on the Hagen's Alley Books Facebook Page already know this, but I wanted to post an update here too...

NES Oddities was sent out 100% to all single book backers and to those who opted for early shipping.

The Nintendo Entertainment System Compendium is currently shipping to me and I should hopefully have the books by the end of the month. The advance copy arrived, which I did a live stream of, and it looks amazing!

The Best of NES Homebrew Box Set artwork has been finished now and was sent over to the box creator who is currently assembling them. Once I get those in the mail, I will send those out ASAP, which means you will get your books separately.

The Custom Consoles and Controllers from CK Signs were completed and he will be mailing those directly to backers, again separately from the books.

Finally, the Leather Covers and the Leather Bound Tome will both take some time. The Leather Covers are currently being worked on by Artisan Leather, but they are time consuming. With the Tome, I have to have both books in hand before I can send them to the bindery.

Let me know if I missed anything!

NES Oddities Books are in!
11 months ago – Thu, Jul 27, 2017 at 07:14:33 AM

The NES Oddities books are in and shipping will begin on Monday as this weekend I'll be at Replay FX in Pittsburgh. If you are local to that area and/or are attending the convention you can get your book there too, plus bonus treats!

You can check out the quality and more about the content here.

Also, the Nintendo Compendium book is fully edited and off to the printing company. If you backed both books and want your Oddities book early, let me know.

Thanks for the support and also check out the "Cool Ass Items Club" I started too.
